It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Paramount Chief Naftaly Ngeru Kamonjo HSC who hailed from Kanyenya-ini, Kangema.

Husband to Catherine Wangari Ngeru.

Son of the late Jackton Kamonjo and the late Miriam Muthoni (Githiga, Kangema).

Father of John Kamonjo, Mary Muthoni (Gitongu Secondary), Phyllis Wangechi Njogu-ini (Gathiru-ini Secondary), Peter Waiguru (USA), David Irungu (Managua Ridge Secondary) and Dr. James Muritu (USA).

Brother to the late Ruth Wanjiru Munene, Stephen Irungu, Margaret Wagio Karanja, Duncan Minua, Mwalimu Titus Muritu and late Wilson Kuria.

Father in law to the late Alice Kamonjo, Peter Njogu-ini Gachau, Margaret Waiguru, Emily Irungu and Florence Muritu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kanyenya-ini for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Monday 15/05/2023 at 7.00am followed by a funeral service at ACK St. James, Kanyenya-ini from 10.00am-He will later be laid to rest at his home in Kanyenya-ini.
