Pastor Eugenia Jane Njanja Muriu Waithaka

It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Pastor Eugenia Jane Mania Muriu Waithaka of UAP Insurance and Sovereign of Christ Family Church, Nyeri which occurred on 28th August, 2022 following a short illness.

Daughter of the late Ernest Muriu Ndonga and the late Susan Nyambura Gachiri. Wife of the late John Waithaka and loving mother to Susan Nyambura, Harrison Wachira, Christine Wambere and Ernest Muriu. Mother-in-love of Naomi Mawia Wachira. Doting grandmother to; Ethan Waita, Miguel Ndirangu, Nate Jabali, Lakshmi Shah and Nataly Sayari.

Sister to the late Gerald Ndonga,Vincent Muguku Muriu, Teresa Waturi Gathungu, Mary Wanja Ndiritu, the late Barnabus Ritho Muriu, Veronicah Waturi Muriu, the late Regina Wangui Muriithi, Teresa Wangari Karoki, Lucy Gathoni Ngatho, Anthony Ndonga Muriu, John Gachiri Muriu and Elias Ritho Muriu. Loving aunt, cousin, niece, friend, mentor and colleague to many.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at her home in Kariobangi South, Nairobi and Kamangura, Nanyuki.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home (use the gate along the Northern bypass) on Monday 5th September, 2022 at 6.30am for funeral service at her home in Kamangura, Nanyuki at 10.00am.
