It is with deep sorrow, that we announce the death of Pastor Janet Akoyo Okore, which occurred on March 13th, 2022 in Ewing, New Jersey, USA.

Daughter to the late Gilbert Olum and the late Abysage Olum.

Cherished wife to PeterAbadha Okore.

Loving mother to Rebecca Odotte, Ronald Okore, Nicholas Okore, Joash Okore and James Okore.

Doting grandmother to Polly, Baraka, Hawi, Jayron, Janelle, Nicholas Jr., Gloria, Wema, Mariah and Ariella.

Mother-in-law to Amos Odotte, Lynette Okore, Grace Okore and Mary Okore.

Sister to Grace Ochuonyo, Betty Tuju, George Olum, James Odhiambo, Evelyn Omondi, Caroline Omega, Jane Andwati, Arina Olum, Anne Abonyo, the late Okeya Olum, the late Amos Olum, the late Owe Olum among others.

Sister-in-law to the late Charles Abadha, Mary Abadha, Phoebe Omondi, the late Eliud Omondi, the late John Okore, the late Agnes Okore, Monica Aoko, Samuel Okore, Leah Okore, Aggrey Ochieng, Anne Ochieng, Judith Akinyi, Joseph Ademba, the late Shem Tuju, the late Dan Ochuonyo, the late Jim Abonyo, Phoebe Odhiambo, Edith Olum, Jared Andwati, Paul Omega, Kathy Okeya, Rosemary Arina. She was a cousin and aunt to many.

The body arrives from USA on Tuesday, April 4th, 2022.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Mortuary at 1pm on Friday, April 8th, for funeral service to be held at CITAM Church in Kisumu at 2pm.

Burial service will take place on Saturday April 9th at 9am at Kaila Primary School. Thereafter she will be laid to rest at her family home in Seme Kaila, Bwanda.
