Patrick Ngere Waihumbu

1948 – 2023

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Patrick Ngere Waihumbu, that occurred on Sunday 16th April, 2023.

Son to the late Salome Ngina Ngere. Son-in-law to Felix Kariuki Ndabwai and Charity Wambui Kariuki.

Husband to Mary Ng’endo Ngere. Father to Patricia Ngina, Pharis Waihumbu, the late Charity Wambui, the late Felix Kariuki, Pauline Njeri and Geoffrey Waweru. Father-in-law to Lucy Wacu and Hannah Wanjiku.

Brother to the late Jane Njeri, Geoffrey Waweru, Hannah Kanyi, the late Lucy Wanjuhi, the late Anthony Mungai and the late Kamau.

Brother-in-law to the late Nyamwathi, the late Kiongera, Kinuthia, Mwaura, Mboca and Ngurukuhi.

Grandfather to Henry Kamau Githu, Wangui Githu, Maryanne Ng’endo Githu, Patrick Ngere Githu, Maryanne Ng’endo Waihumbu, Patrick Ngere Waihumbu, Martin Njoroge Waihumbu, Shirleen Mwihaki Waihumbu, the late Andrew Muthemba Kaburu, Patrick Ngere Waweru, John Chege Waweru, Waihumbu Waweru. Uncle and friend to many.

Daily meetings are being held at his home in Mahindi – Karura Kanyungu for prayers.

Funeral service will be held at his home from 12noon on Tuesday, 25th April, 2023.
