Patrick Njagi Ndwiga Kamwengu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Mr Patrick Njagi Ndwiga Kamwengu which occurred on 12th July, 2022 after a short illness.
Until his demise, he was the Director of Sport and Talent Development in Embu County.

Beloved son to Albert Ndwiga Kamwengu and Mary Murangi Ndwiga. Father to Myra Makeba Njagi (Starehe Girls) and Elyta Mwende Njagi (Leerand School, Thika).

Brother to Anne Wawira Muchangi (Afyamax Pharmacy, Embu), Stella Ruguru Ndwiga (Mavoko Waters – MAVWASCO), Esther Rwamba Laichena (Kirunguru Secondary School), Josphat Muriuki Kamwengu (Mugendi Karigi Advocates) and Peter Mugo Kamwengu (Wang’uru Girls).

Brother-in-law to Ken Muriithi (Afyamax Pharmacy, Embu), Charles Muthuri Witiviga Kamwengu (Ministry of Devolution), Edward Laichena (Tharaka University College) and Terryann Wanjiku (Good Samaritan Secondary School).

Family and friends are meeting every day at the Kithimu residence at 3:00pm in Embu and at Lapalachio Hotel – Embu (formerly Kryptonite) at 7:00pm.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home – Embu on Friday 22nd July, 2022 at 9:00am.

The funeral service will be at St. Teresa Catholic Church – Kithimu, Embu and burial will be at Kithimu Village, near Kithimu Market Embu.
