Paul Odera Onyango

30th June 1950 – 10th July, 2023

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Odera Onyango, on Monday, 10th July, 2023, after long illnesses bravely borne.

Son of the late Josiah Bedford Onyango and the late Janet Omollo Onyango of Alego Obambo, Siaya County.

Son-in-law to the late Salome Atieno Tieng.

Husband of Roslyda Adhiambo Odera. Father of Salome Atieno, Stephanie Achieng and Josiah Onyango.

Brother of Dr. Mary O Adongo, Doreen Anyona, the late Eric Oluoch, Dr. Grace Okello, Dennis Ododa and Edna Stein.

Brother-in-law to Dr. Samuel Adongo, the late Shem Migai Anyona, Alice Onyango, Prof. Okello Agina, Millicent Ododa, Richard Stein, Meshack, Norman and Jane Awuor.

The cortege leaves Kiminini Mortuary on Thursday, 27th July, 2023 for service at St. Mark ACK – Kiungani, then to his home in Liganwa farm for an overnight vigil. The burial service will be held at Kiungani, Liganwa Farm, Kambimiwa in Kitale, on Friday 28th July, 2023.
