Peninah Njeri Gitau

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Peninah Njeri Gitau, which occurred on 24/05/2023.

Daughter of the late Gitau Kagombe and Monica Njambi.

Mother to Dr. Lucy Njambi Ombaba. Mother-in-law to Dr. Boniface Osano.

Sister to the late John Wakaba, the late Paul Njuguna, the late Mary Wambui Kamau, the late Joseph Gitau and Rebecca Wanjiku Karaya. Sister-in-law to Grace Nyambura Wakaba.

Grandmother to Louis Osano, Eldel Neema, Nina Rehema and Mark Mokoro. She was auntie to many.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home – Thika Road, on Wednesday 31/05/2023, at 8.30am.

The funeral service will be held at Martyrs of Uganda Gatundu Catholic Church, at 11.00am. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at her ancestral home in Kahugu-ini Ng’enda, Gatundu.

The Lord gave us Peninah Njeri Gitau, and the Lord has taken her back to glory. Blessed be His name.
