Peris Jepchumba Songok  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved Mum, Grandmother and Great grandmother Mrs. Peris Jepchumba Songok that occurred on 29th June, 2018.

Beloved wife of Philip Songok of Koilot, Lessos Division, Nandi County. Daughter of the late Ezekiel Boen and Grace. Mother of Susan Metto (MTRH), Dr. Julia Songok (Moi University), Nancy Too, Edna Kirui (USA), Ruth Koech (USA), Boaz (MTRH), Jalvis Songok and Sharline Cherop (Kapsoo Girls). Sister of Job Boen, the late Julia, Sarah, Anna, Samuel, the late Joseph, Rebecca, Daudi and late Salome. She is blessed with 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sister-in-law of Stephen Kogo, Daniel Choge, Jane Singen and Florah Jesang. Mother-in-law of Simion Metto, Prof. Sylvester Kimaiyo (Moi Uni/AMPATH). Elijah Too, Edwin Kirui (USA), Hosea Koech (USA) and Lindah Songok.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Koilot Nandi county and St. Luke’s Hospital cafeteria, Eldoret daily as from 4.00pm for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary on 13th July 2018 for home Koilot village.

Funeral service and burial will be held on 14th July 2018 at Koilot.
