The family of P. A. Godial is saddened to announce his demise at Aga Khan Hospital – Kisumu on Sunday, 18th September, 2022.

Son of the late Pamella Awiti Jagongo (Lady John) and the late John Peter Jagongo Awando, of Lweya, Uyoma Katweng’a, Siaya County.

Husband to Roselida Amollo Awando. Father to Tito Awando, Carolyne Awando, Toni Awando & Nancy Awando. Father-in-law to Mary Awando, Beatrice Awando & Takie Roberts. Grandfather to Vanesa Awando, Alexandre Godial, Darrel Awando, Dylan Awando, Darwin Awando, Nyla & Nia Roberts.

Brother to Ruth Ogombe, the late Amos Ouma, the late Benjamin Kambezi, the late Sella Audi, J.J. Obara, Dorothy N.O. Kimeu & the late Ainea Obara.

Brother-in-law to Nelson Ogombe, the late Jennifer Kambezi, the late Ernest Omuoyo, Meresia Obara, the late Owen K. N. Makuu, Margaret & the late Charles Muga, Phelesia & the late Mahalon &Olwande, Mary & Leonard Opiyo, Benea & Mary, Arthur & Doreen Omondi, Pamella & the late Obonyo & Margaret Opino (Nyamimo).

Family, relatives & friends are meeting daily at his home in Lweya, Uyoma.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary – Kisumu on Friday, 30th September, 2022 at 11.00am for service at St. Luke’s A.C.K – Lweya Parish at 4.00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 1st October, 2022 at 10.00 at Lweya School, followed by burial at the homestead.
