Peter George Mwaura Gachunje

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Peter George Mwaura Gachunje. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of 24/4/21.

He was the son of the late Anthony Kamau Gachunje and Felicina Mahoni Gachunje. He was husband to Elizabeth Mumbi. Father to Anthony Kamau, Philip Wainaina, Benard Njogu and Catherine Muthoni Mukopi. Father-in-law to Cecilia Catherine Wambui Kamau, Patricia Wamuyu Wainaina, Anne Njeri Njogu and Michael Mukopi. Grandfather to Elijah Mwaura, Isaac Ngunungu, Nathan Wainaina, Elizabeth Mumbi Njogu, Therese Muthoni Njogu, Peter Mwaura Njogu, Richard Wainaina Njogu, Elizabeth Nafula Mukopi and John Mukwa Mukopi. Brother to the late Alice Njeri Mungai, Benard Njogu, Ciriaka Wambui Mugucia, Margaret Wairima Gikandi and the late Rose Njoki Ndung’u.

The cortege will leave Gaichanjiru Mission Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 29th April at 9am for the funeral service at his farm in Gitura village, Kagia road.
