We regret to announce the death of Peter Kariuki Githu (Thika Bookshop).

Husband of Esther Mugure Kariuki. Brother of the late Samson Mugo, Priscilla Kabura, Mary Wanja, the late Simon Kiragu, Rahab Njeri and the late Zaccariah Kiongo.

Loving father of Alice Wanjiru, Githu and Peninah, the late Ephantus Mungai, Samson Mugo, Phyillis Muthoni, Priscilla Kabura and Onesmus Kamau. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Chomo Village, Gatanga from 3.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements and there will be a one-off meeting at Shuhan Hotel, Thika today Monday 3rd June 2019 from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 8.00am on Wednesday 5th June 2019 for funeral service and burial at his home in Chomo, Gatanga, Murang’a County from 11.00am on the same day.
