It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Kibui Kamau Gitumbu, which occurred on 24th July, 2023.

Son to the late Joel Gitumbu and Catherine Waithera Gitumbu.

Husband to Faith Mbaya-Kibue of Somerset Westview Nairobi. Father to Anita Waithera Kibui and Georgina Gacheri Kibui.

Brother to David Kamau & Margaret Kamau, the late Philip Kariuki Gitumbu & Elizabeth Kariuki, the late PerisWanjiku and the late Isaac Kiroga.

Uncle to Angela & John, Carol,Wangui, Joe, Stacy & Calvin, Jobu, Hadassah, Bonnie, Makandi, Oscar, Kanana.

Son-in-law to Judith Kagwiria and Johnson Mbaya, and a cousin to many.

Grandfather to Mayron and Sean.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Buruburu Phase IV and at his residence in Ruai.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, along Thika Road on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023 at 8.00am, The funeral and burial service will take place at his home in Mwahuro Village, Mutithi Sub-Location, Kirimiri Location, Muranga South Sub-county, Muranga County.

We loved you and miss you dearly, but clearly, God loved you more. Rest in eternal peace Kibui.
