Peter King’ori Maina

It is with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter King’ori Maina.

Husband to Phylis Wangui King’ori. Son to Cecilia Thanji of Murichu Village, Gatundia, Muhotetu Division, Laikipia County. Father to Alfred Maina King’ori and Cecily Wambui King’ori.

Brother to Mary Wanjiku, Rose Wanjira, the late John Wachira, Lucy Wangari, Alice Nyawira and Shelmith Wangechi.

Son-in-law to the late Joseck Kariuki and the late Zippporah Wanjiru of Gikoe, Mathioya. He was an uncle, cousin, and grandfather to many.

Prayer are being held daily at their home in Ngangarithi Estate, Nyeri at 4:00pm, and meetings at Central Hotel – Nyeri at 5:30pm.

The cortege will leave St Benedict Hospital Mortuary – Nyahururu at 8.00am, on Monday, 8th May, 2023 for a funeral mass at his farm in Murichu village, Gatundia, Laikipia at 11.00am. Followed by burial at the same place.
