Peter Muchwe Chiera

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Muchwe Chiera (Mwalimu) of Silanga — Olkalou on 17/08/2017 after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved husband of Lucy Wangeci Muchwe, son of the late Isaiah Chiera and Elizabeth Nyambura, son inlaw of the late Mr & Mrs. Githinji Mutuaruhiu of Kahuru North Kinangop. He is brother to Peter Kirika, Gladys Gathoni, Simon Karinga, Ann Wambui, George Mbugua, Mwangi Chiera and Samuel Kariuki. Step-brother to Muchwe, James Kamara, Nyambura, Wamuiko, Kamunge (Moto), Mwaura, Muniaru, Muiruri, Njeri,Wanja, Nyanjiru,Wanjiku, Ngoci and Ndundu. Loving Father to the Late Elizabeth Nyambura, lssah Chiera Malindi), Edward Githinji, Anthony Kirika, Timothy Mutuaruhiu, Phyllis Wangui (RV1ST), Gladys Gathoni. Father in-law to Maureen Mumbi Githinji; Grandfather to Peter Muchwe Nyambura, Peter Muchwe Githinji, Bakita Wangeci Chiera.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their home in Silanga Olkalou for prayers and funeral arrangements The cortege leaves J.M. Memorial County Hospital Mortuary on Friday 25th August 2017 at 8.00am for requiem mass and funeral service at Silanga Village Olkalou, starting 9.00am.
