It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing of Peter Mwove Mwaniki on 15 April, 2019. He was born on 29 August, 1942, in Mtito wa Ndoa in Kitui County.

Son of the late Mzee Mwaniki and the late Mama Nditu. Last born and a brother of the late Mr. James Kalovwe and the late Mr. Munyoki. Husband of the late Christina Syombu. Father of Patrick Maingi, Monica Nditu, the late Paul Mwaniki, the late Joseph Kinaa, Catherine Syovata, Joel Kalovwe and Patricia Mwikali. Father-in-law of Lynnet Magayi, Janet Hiuko, Churchill Atinda, Landon Shaffer and David Nyumu. Grandfather of Ian Nderitu, Ivy Wanjiru, Noel Mwove, Hellen Syombu, Stefan Mwove, John Muthee, Trevor Atinda, Terrence Atinda, Diana Mwaniki, Rhoda Mwaniki, Lianna Syombu, Caleb Shaffer and Christina Syombu.

There will a fundraising towards funeral arrangements on Tuesday, 23 April, 2019 at Garden Square from 5:30pm. For those who are not able to make to the fund raising, please contact/forward your contribution to 0726968085.

The cortege leave Montezuma funeral home on Saturday, 27 April, 2019 at 6:30 am for burial ceremony in Changwithya West Location, Tungutu Sub-location, lthokwe Village, Kitui County.

A life well lived is a legacy of joy, pride, pleasure and a long lasting memory that our grateful hearts will always treasure. We will miss you Peter Mwove Mwaniki! Rest in eternal Peace.
