Peter Ngigi Gikwa

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Ngigi Gikwa. Son of the late Gikwa Methu and Lucia Wairimu Gikwa. Peter was a Survey Engineer who worked for SMEC International Ltd (Northern Collector Tunnel – Muranga). Previously he had worked with Konoike in Kisumu, Geo Acre Surveys in Nairobi (based in Nanyuki) and Ascoda General Contractors Ltd in Nairobi.

He passed away after a short illness, leaving behind his wife Hellen Wangu (Pz Cussons), and two children, Everlyne Wairimu (Kenyatta University) and Brian Kamau (Kiambu High School).

Peter was dearly loved by his siblings Mary Wanjiku, Patricia Wambui, Agnes Njoki, Anthony Metho, Charles Nyoro, Joseph Mugo, Francis Mwangi, Gladys Wanjiru, and Teresia Nyawira.

Son-in-law to Nahashon Ndegwa and Lydia Wangui, and a brother-in-law to Virginia Mugure, Wilson Kariuki, Isaac Gichohi, Sarah Wangari, Ecrah Wanjiru, Mary Wanjru, Elizabeth Mweru, and Samwel Waithaka. He was an uncle, Cousin and Friend to many.

The body of Peter Ngigi Gikwa is currently at the KU Referral Hospital Mortuary. The funeral service will be held in Miharati, Kipipiri, and he will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 13th 2023.
