Peter Njagi Muringi

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Peter Njagi Muringi after a shoil illness. He passed away on Friday 9th April 2021.

Son of the late Francis Muringi and Stella Muthoni. Husband of Evangeline Muthoni Njagi and Daisy Igoki. Brother of Tilas Nthia, Isaac Ngiri, Catherine Ndugu, Jeremiah Nyaga, Panuel Ngari, John Kariuki and Rhoda Njoki. Brother-in-law of Naleah Mbucu, Major Jane Wairimu, Hon Bernard Kandla, Mercy Karendi, Susan Wanjiru, Evaline Wanjiru and Erustus Njeru. Father of Caroline Wawira, Mark Kiama,Timothy Mutembei, Joan Wanjagi, Ken Mugendi and Eclay Ngatha. Father-in-law of Paul Maingi, Beatrice Wangeci and Dadson Karani. Grandfather of Ivy Ngatha, Cherryl Wakio and Tiffany Warukira. In-law of Mr & Mrs Rukaria, Mrs Waiganjo, Loise Gathigia, the late James Njeru and Joyce Muongia.A cousin to many and Loving to many nieces and nephews. Peter was a loving gentleman and a true friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at their Siakago home at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home – Embu, on Wednesday 14th April 2021 at 8.00am for funeral service at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral Siakago and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Karambari home.
