It is with sadness to announce the death of our beloved Peter Opande of African Development Bank in Kampala. Son of the late Stanley Opande and Mama Teresa Opande. Husband of Teresa Kwamboka. Father of Joshua Miregwa of South Africa. Lydia Moraa, Brenda Nyaboke both of USA and Sharlene Mongina of the University of Nairobi.

Brother of Jephter Opande of National Bank, Samson Opande of Kitale, Ruth Kerubo Nyambane, Dorcas Nyaboke, Isabela Opande of NHIF Kericho, Jared Opande of Eco- Bank, Laban of USA and George Opande of Nyamira Law Courts. Nephew of Prof Meroka Mbeche of University of Nairobi, the late Johnson Okemwa, Joseph Mabuka, David Onchari, Osiri Nyakundi of Treasury, the late Peter Makori, Bismarck Nyakundi, Oyaro Nyakundi, Gichora Orioki among others. Cousin of Shadrack Makori of NSSF, Kennedy Ongoa„ David Okioma, Peter Magubo, Peter Magiya, Samson Elijah, Mobisa Onchari, Osiri Nyambati, Saiex Osoro, Alice Okemwa, Douglas Omariba, Torn Mogaka of USA among others.

His Aunts are the late Dinah Nyachama, Abisiba Ongoa, Mary Nyagoti, Pacificah Magubo,Jane Elijah, the late Gesare Mogaka,the late Basweti, the late Nyaitondi, Billiah Nyambati. In-law of the late Francis Nyakweba, Oman lsanda and Omwoyo lsanda among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence at Karen.
