Peter Ruchiu Murengi

Born: 20th February 1926 – Died: 21st January 2020

It is with humble acceptance and submission of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Peter Ruchiu Murengi on 21.01.2020 (Retired Elder PCEA Kisauni Parish).

Son of the late Zacharia Murengi King’atua and Gladys Wambui Murengi. Beloved husband of Mrs Rahab Wanjiru Ruchiu. Loving father of Peter Murengi, Eld. David Mwaura, Rose Wambui, Priscilla Wanjiku, Charity Nguhi, the late Charles Kingatua, James Karanja, Jane Wairimu and Anne Nduta. A grandfather and great grandfather to many. Brother of the late Charles king’atua Murengi, the late baby Thiong’o, the late charity Nguhi Murengi, the late Grace Njeri Murengi (Wamuhu) the late baby Nduta, the late baby Wangui, Rosa Nduta Nyamu, Margaret Wangui Thuo, Esther Wanjiru Mungai, George Thandi Murengi and Mbuthi Thiong’o Murengi. Brother-in-law and uncle of many. Father in-law to Peter Moorman, John Adwok, James Mahira, Kenneth Karanja, Jane Gathoni, Winnie Muthoni, Irene Njoki.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Kiembeni green estate from 5:00pm.

There will be a fund raiser service on Sunday at 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Pandya Memorial Hospital at 8:00am for a burial service to be held on Tuesday 28th January 2020 at PCEA Kisauni Church Mwandoni 10am and there after burial at Mbaraki cemetery Mombasa county.
