Peter Thagana Kibutu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father Mr. Peter Thagana Kibutu on 2nd August, 2019 at the Outspan Hospital Nyeri county.

Son of the late Jason Kibutu and the late Liz Mwarania. Loving husband of Mrs. Gladys Wambui Thagana of Gatung’ang’a village Ngorano Location Mathira, Nyeri county. Father of Jack Kibutu (Nyeri county), Antony Mahinda (Gatung’ang’a), John Thagana JT (Muthaiga North), David Mahehu (Gatung’ang’a), Mary Wahome (Durban S.A) and Joseph Ngunjiri (Ruiru Rainbow Resort). Father-in-law of Caroline Kibutu (Ngaini primary), Susan Thagana (Muthaiga North), Regina Njoki (Nairobi), Steve Wahome (Durban S.A) and Pauline Wairimu (Thika). Brother of the late Kararu, the late Mahehu, the late Theuri, the late Kanyeria,Wangui (Tumutumu), the late Mwara and the late Karuria and Uncle of many. In-law of Fredrick Mahinda, the late Ngima, the late Wanjiru, Charity Wamaitha, Rose Njuguna, and Mercy Kimani. Grandfather of Niko, Simo, Peter, Mark, Tinna, Elvis, Wambui, Collins, Joy, Collins, Suzzette and Peter of South Africa.

Family and friends continue to meet daily from 6:30 pm @ Sagret Hotel Milimani Nairobi, Sue and John Thagana-JT (Muthaiga North) home and Mzee’s home in Mathira Nyeri.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Outspan mortuary on Friday October 11th, 2019 at 8.30am for a funeral service and burial at Mzee’s home in Gatung’ang’a Mathira, Nyeri county from 10.30am.
