Brother-in-law of Philip Tonui (Barnet) and Maryline Tonui ,Victor Cheruyot (Born Free) and Margaret Cheruiyot and Christine Cherono (Nakuru). Step brother of Pauline Kamau (Kenya Airways) and Jimmy Gacheru among others. Cousin of Simon Nderitu (Principal Catholic Diocese Ngong Hills Secondary School) and John Kanyara among others.
