It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Phidilia Grant Mterere which occurred on 11/01/2020.

Daughter of Late Laban and Late Rachel Shuma Taita Taveta County.

Wife of late Grant Ralph Mterere. Mother of Pauline Madoka, Rachel Muli, Sidney Mterere, Clara and Harry Kathurima, Late Laban and Dorothy Mterere, Apollo and Irene Mterere and Mercy Mterere.

Sister to the late Godfrey and Rita Shuma (UK) , Boaz and Gene Shuma (USA) Late Dick and Mary Shuma, Late Hill Shuma, Tom, Andrew, Mike Shuma.

Grandmother to 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives will meet for a fundraising at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 14th January 2020 at 5 pm.

Funeral service will take place at Emmanuel Church Kengeleni Mombasa on Friday 17th Jan 2020 at 10 a.m. Thereafter burial will be at Mbaraki Cemetery Mombasa.
