It is with humble acceptance and submission to God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Philip Chepkwony of Kipsabuge Village, Kaptumo Division, Nandi County that occurred on 22/02/2020.

Son of the late Joseph Masirget, Elizabeth Masirget and Teresia Masirget. Loving husband of Christine Chepkwony. Brother of the late Salina Tangut, the late Pius Chepkwony and Victorine Murei. Step-brother of Cornelius Koech, Henry Koech, Aloice Koech, Constantine Koech, the late Fred Koech, Christine Kemei, Pauline Kitur, Winnie Langat and Florence Maina. Father of Josephine Tanui (Moi University), Pauline Ngeno (NCPB), Priscilla Tenai (Kaplamai Primary School), Peter Ngeno (CUEA), William Ngeno (Yara), Margaret Samoei (Setek Dispensary), Dorcas Rotich, John Ngeno (CAPYEI-Eld).

Father-in-law of Prof. Julius Tanui (KWTA), Emmanuel Tenai (Cheribisi Academy), Lydia Ngeno (MOE-NBI), Edna Ngeno (Entrepreneur-NBI), Jonathan Samoei (Businessman), Sammy Rotich (Businessman) and Norah Ngeno (KIDS). Grandfather of Cathleen, Celine, Joshua, Carynn, Evans, Davies, Beryl, Kelsey, Dylan, Caren,Abel, Mark, Ethan, Adrian, Javier, Jager, Sandra, Tracy, Markspencer, Delphis, Sharleen, Derrick and Devies. Brother-in-law of Christopher Tangut, Peter Murei, Anne Chepkwony, Joseph Metto, the late Catherine and Sabina.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital mortuary on Friday 28th February 2020 at 11.00am for Kipsabuge village, Kaptumo Division, Nandi County for Requiem Mass at 2pm.

Burial will take place on Saturday 29th February 2020 at Kipsabuge village starting at 9.00am.
