Appreciation

We, the family of the late Philip Gikanga Gathuru give our utmost thanks to the Almighty God for the years we shared with him as husband, father and grandfather.

We wish to extend our most sincere appreciation for the overwhelming support and love extended to us by relatives and friends during his illness and eventual demise. We were deeply touched by your calls, messages, words of comfort, uplifting prayers, visits to our home and financial support.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the PCEA Riara Ridge Church, Rev Samuel Kithinji and Rev Charles Maingi for officiating the funeral service. Special thanks to Rev. Fr. Lawrence Njoroge and Fr. John Njoroge as well as our neighbouring churches, ACK Riara Ridge, Consolata Church, Riara Ridge and AIPCEA Riara Ridge for officiating the daily services during the funeral arrangements.

We are grateful to the doctors and nurses of Nairobi Hospital, in particular Dr. Ernest Kioko and Dr. Charles Kariuki, as well as Dr. Niraj Gupta and Dr. Mabea along with the staff of Medanta Africare Hospital.

We are exceedingly thankful to the funeral organising committee for tirelessly working to ensure Philip’s befitting send off.

Since it is not possible to individually thank each one of you for your love and support, kindly accept this as our sincere gratitude.
