Philip Kamau Kabugua

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Philip Kamau Kabugua, immediate acting Principal St Mary’s Karuthi Secondary School – Othaya, which occurred on Tuesday 10th October at Consolata Mission Hospital – Mathari, after an illness bravely borne.

Son to Susan Njoki and the late Paul Kabugua.

Beloved husband to Agnes Waniiru Kamau (St Joseph Mahiga Mweiga). Doting father to Susan Njoki (ATC), Esther Nyambura and Paul Kabugua.

Loving brother to Paul-Austin Mbugu, Joseph Kiama, Simon Ngunyi, Peterson Muhika, Stephen Mwangi, the late John Muturi, Nancy Wachuka (USA), Christine Wambui, Priscilla Wangui, Hillary Maina and Eunice Waitherero.

Brother-in-law to Mary Tiampati, the late Paul Mwangi, Catherine Wamae, Charles Githaiga, Peter Maina and Eunice Wangui. He was a beloved uncle to many.

The cortege leaves St Michael Funeral Parlour – Mathari n Wednesday 18th October, 2023 at 8.30am. The funeral service will be held at Kihuti Secondary School followed by interment at his rural home in Mbari ya Mugo, Mukurweini, Nyeri County.
