It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the death of Philip Ngoge Omwando, which occurred on Sunday 21st February 2021 while undergoing treatment in Mater Hospital-Nrb. He dedicated his entire life to Farming and ALICO/CFC Life Assurance, now Liberty Life Insurance until his formal retirement in 2012.

Beloved husband to Priscah Nyakerario Ngoge KALRO HQ. Loving Father to Geoffrey Omwando-ZJCC Nrb, Penorah Buyaki, Grace Kwamboka both of Turnkey Africa & Joshua Onyoni-UoN. Son to Peris Kemunto Omwando and the late Simian Omwando Samoita. Son-in-law to the late Naftal and Hellen Kibwage-Gesusu. Brother to Bathsheba, James, Evans-lay Pastor, Edward-Railways, Naphtal-Olmariko Sec. Amos-Bong’onta Sec, Lewis- Kisii University, Callen, Norah, Agnes the late Nelson Masaranga and others. Brother-in-law to Musa, Prof. Kibwage-Gesusu, Tom-NBI, Benard, Peter- ZJCC Nrb, Morara-SAJ, Callen,Happiness, Emily-Nkr and others.

Cousin to Jeremiah Samba-Samba & Co Adv, Ben Mogaka, Kefa Nyakundi-NIS, Peterson Ongeri-KMTC Nkr, Ezekiel Obonyo-Wilson Airport, Richard Amati-Min of lands-Nrb, Mobisa Onkoba-Cons.Thika, Wilfred Konisi (Konisi & Co. Adv/Kisii University), Dr. Kerongo-Kisii University, Richard Nyakundi-USA, Wycliff Anyona, Francis Motiri-Min of Health Afya Hse, Uncle to Nelson-Msa, Danvas-Nrb,Timothy (Omwando Mbaka Co.Adv), Dr. Jason Mose-USA, Andrew, Dr. Sheila and many others. Nephew to Ben Onyoni-Cons Nrb, Eucabeth Nyakundi-USA, Obonyo Moronge, Ratemo Moronge.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their family home in Muguga KALRO Farm—Nrb, Narok and Taracha-Kisii.

The cortege will leave Mater Hospital Morgue—Nairobi, on Thursday 4thMarch,2021 at 8.00am, for burial on Friday 5th at Taracha Home, Kisii County. The service will commence at 11.00am.

He has shown us what a life of service is.

    I have learnt of Philip’s demise with sadness – Philip was a colleague at ALICO/CFC LIFE. May his soul rest in peace.
