Phillip Muiga Chorio

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Phillip Muiga Chorio which occurred on 27th June 2023 at KNH Prime Care Centre.

Loving husband to the late Lucy Muthoni.

Son to the late Chief Stephen Chorio and the late Waceke Chorio. Son-in-law to the late Wachira Mugo and the late Gachambi.

Devoted father to Chorio, Dr. Wachira Muiga, Njeri, Munene, Kamau, Wambui and Ciro Virginia. Father-in-law to Wandia, Hellen, Andrew, Margaret, Rey, Karanu and Patrick.

Grandfather to Linda and Muiga Chorio; Vincent, Kelvin, Rama and Lucille Wachira; Elianajoy Njake;Vinnie and Alex Munene; Mishi and Zawadi Kamau; Mugure and Gitau Karanu; Victor, Dhesh, Lem and Nate Maina. Great grandfather to Melton and Melvin.

Brother to Wanjiru, Wachira, the late Peter, Thomas, Andrew, Nyambura, Njoki, and Wangeci. Uncle to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home at Kihua-ini and in PCEA St.Andrew’s Church on Friday, 30th June 2023 starting 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Outs an Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 4th July 2023 at 8.00am followed by funeral service at PCEA Mutathi-ini Church and thereafter interment at his home in Kihua-ini, Nyeri.
