It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Philly Kiptanui Cherutich of The Kenya National Examinations Council, which occurred on 06/01/2020.
Son of the late Joshua Kiu and Laurencia Cherutich of Kamagut village, husband of Dorcas Cheruiyot, father of Faith Jelagat, the late Jasmin Jebiwott and Joy Jebet. Brother of Leonard, Amos, Pamela, Sharon, Oliver, and Elias. Son-in-law of the late David Cheruiyot and Salina Cheruiyot (Kapkangoswo). Brother-in-law of Lt. Colonel Vincent Cheruiyot, Reuben, Christopher, Gloria, Winnie, SaIly, Cynthia and Versity. Uncle of Kevin, Sheila, Collins, Carren, Yolan, Shaleen, Lesley and Titus. Grandson of the late Cherutich Kigen. Nephew of Clementina, Rosebella, Vincent, Helen, Hon William Cherutich, Grace, Sally, Bernard, the late Beatrice and Ambrose. Cousin of Many.
Meetings are held daily at his home in Kipsoen and at his Nairobi residence. There will be a fundraising at his home Kipsoen and in Nairobi (Embakasi) on Wednesday, 15/01/2020.
The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on 17/01/2020. Burial and funeral services will be held on Saturday, 18/01/2020, starting at 10am at his home in Kipsoen, Kamariny Division, Elgeiyo-Marakwet County.
