It is with profound humility and acceptance that we announce the passing on of our dear mother, Mrs. Philomena Muthoni Muchina, on 24th September, 2019 at her marital home in Kanjuku. Githunguri, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Michael Gitau & and the late Lucy Njeri. Wife of the late Jesse Muchina Gitahi. Mother of Mr. & Mrs. Michael and Jane Gitau, Mr. & Mrs. Catherine and Michael Kiguta, the late Mary Wangari, Mr. & Mrs. Irene & Arthur Kitau, Mr. & Mrs. Pauline & John Wakere, Mr. & Mrs. Bernard & Naomi Gitahi, Mr. & Mrs. Regina & Jacob Mulati, Ms. Margaret Mumbi, Mr. John Njoroge, Ms. Keziah Wangui, Ms. Asumpta Wangui, & Mr. Frederick Mburu. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kanjuku, Githunguri from 4:30pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home, Githunguri at 9:00am on Friday, 4th October, 2019 for mass and burial at her homestead in Kanjuku, Githunguri.
