Phoebe Muringo Kirongothi

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Phoebe Muringo Kirongothi of Karanjee, Limuru County, on 7th March, 2022.

She was the sixth child (of twelve) of the late Johana and Susana Kirongothi.

Wife of the late Peter Mbia Kanuna and Co-wife to Kamene Peter.

She is mother to Peter Keni, the late Watson Wendi, Cassius Mumo, Joseph Gitonga and the late Winfred Wanjiku.

Step-mother to Moses Mutuku, James Mutemi and Lilian Mueni. Mother-in-law to Florence Keni, Lucy Mumo, Eunice Gitonga, Anne Mutuku and Ben Micheni. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home daily at 4.00pm. The body is lying at Tigoni Hospital Mortuary from where the cortege will leave at 8.30am on 15th March, 2022 for the funeral service and internment at Lang’ata Cemetery at 11.00am.
