Phoebe Muthamba Ndemange “MaMa”

It is with great sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of our Queen mother, matriarch Phoebe Muthamba Ndemange.

Daughter of the late Mzee Waita Kimuya and Mama Kasika Waita of Matiliku Location, Nzaui District, Makueni County. Phoebe Muthamba was the only child of Mama Kasika. She was 90 years of age.

Loving wife of the late Tata Nason Ndemange Kilonzo. She was mother of Susan, the late Juma, Rhoda, the late Nzilani, Stella Mary, the late Mbonoka, Esther, Muendi, the late Muinde, Mbinya, Mumbua and Ndambuki.

Mother-in-law to late Ndila, Mumbua the late Joel, Masila, Charles, the late Scolastica, Alenga, Muchara, Onyango, Mutinda and Kamene.

Grandmother to Musovya, the late Ngali, Ndululu, Mutanu, Nthambi, Shikuku, Museveni, Ndemange, Lena, Nduku, the late Musyoki, Ken,Tyson, Stella, Mwelu, Mueni, Kathini, Eva,Winnie, Roger, Mumbua, Musembi, Phoebe, Stella, the late Vicki, Bob, Mulee, Mike, the late Reuben, Kioko, Mwende, Candice, Carol, the late Kaswii, Kyalo, Ndemange, Emmanuel, Ebenezer, Muiruri, Wamaitha, Kevin, Kennedy, Roy, Patty, George, Norah,William,Alma, Mwendwa and Joseph and Great great grandmother to many.

The body of the late MaMa Phoebe is resting at Montezuma Funeral Home Machakos. The Cortege will leave Montezuma on Saturday, 29th July 2023 at 7.00am for the journey to Makueni.  She will be laid to rest on the same day at the family home in Makueni County.
