Phoebe Nzisa Singi

It’s with humble acceptance of Gods will, that we announce the promotion to glory of Phoebe Nzisa Singi. The late was born around 100 years ago (1922), in Ilima village (Ndolo), Kilungu Location, Machakos District then.

She was the 1st born daughter to the late Mzee Jacob Mbinda and the late Mary Mbulwa. Sister to the late Tabitha Masyuko, the late Vilia Kivuva, Muia Mbinda and Mukei Kalii. Mother of Joseph Makau, Beth Mueni, the late James Mutunga, Esther Muthinyie, Stephen Kioko. She was blessed with 3 daughters-in-law namely, Reginah Makau, Catherine Mutunga and Francisca Kioko.

Grandmother of Ruth Ndinda, Isaac Nzioka, Martha Nzisa, Nduku, Mutuku, David Nzyimi, Mboi Mutunga, Ann Mutindi, Fred Maundu, Paulyn Kathee, Nzisa David, Mbithe, Ndave, Brent Muema, Juliana Ngina, Mark Nzeli, Gladys Mwende, Lydia Mwongeli, Gloria Nzisa, Patience Wavinya, Purity Musengy’a, Susan Nzisa, Evans Mbithi, Abby Ndinda, Prudence Munee, Purity Mumo, Timothy Mutunga, Jacob Kyule and Eric Mwendwa, among many others from the co-wife.

The late Phoebe was blessed with 31 great-grandchildren, led by Moses, Joy Kyee, Joy Kennedy, Emmanuel, Jeremy, Johari, Giana, Mutheujeff, Zaria, Mark, Jeanne, Grace, Nathaniel, Abby, Emmanuela, Nduku, Angel, Lydia, Mulwa, Mercy, David, Lisa, Makau, Mutunga, Sharron, Yvonne, Mueni, Terence, Jason & Jonathan.

The cortege will leave Montenzuma Funeral Home – Machakos, on Friday the 07/05/2021 for burial at her home, Kalembwani/Muuei village, lkangavya, Nzaui Sub-county, Makueni County.

Indeed Times and seasons are in the hands of God, as Mwaitu loved saying, we the Singi’s accepted that her season to rest came and she rested in peace. Praise the lord she rested from the labours of this world and indeed her good deeds shall follow her.
