Phoebe Wanjiru King’arui

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Phoebe Wanjiru King’arui.

Daughter of the late Alphaxard Macharia and the late Florence Nyaguthii. Daughter-in-law of the late King’arui wa Muya, the late Hannah Nyambura and the late Wairimu King’arui.

Loving wife of Joseph Nguthiru King’arui. Doting Mother of Anne Nyambura and Kung’u Nyota, the late Andrew King’arui, Grace Nyaguthii & Robert Kanae, Mary Nduta & Andrew Muigai, David King’arui & Sarah Wanjiku, Susan Wairimu & Ken Karware. Proud Grandmother of Kagendo Kung’u, Nyota Kung’u, the late Paula Wangui, Muthoni Macharia and Charlene Macharia.

Sister of the late Susan Wairimu Ndegwa, the late Alice Muthoni, the late Leah Mugure Muraya, Joan Gathigia Kiongo, the late Mary Wamuyu, the late Lawrence Mugo and Ekilah Thuguri.

Sister-in-law of the late Jackson Wamae, the late Charity Wamuyu, Agnes Gathoni, the late John Muriuki, the late Lydia Mumbi, the late Isabella Wanjiku, the late Solomon Nguthiru, Susan Wangu, Mary Wamuyu, Eustace Mundia and Grace Ngima. Loving aunt, friend and cherished by many.

Meetings will be held on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4thApril, 2023, from 5.30pm at the family home in Hardy, Karen.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 5th April, 2023 at PCEA Langata Church from 11.00am.

Our beloved will be laid to rest on Thursday 6th April, 2023 at the family farm in Karundas, near Chaka in Nyeri County.
