Phylis Nyambura Kanyoni

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Phylis Nyambura Kanyoni of Waihara Village Othaya, after a long illness.

Loving wife of Joseph Kanyoni. Mother of Esther Mukami, Lucy Muringi, Regina Waithira, Joyce Wangechi (USA), Teresa Wanjiku, Rahab Wangari, David Mwangi, Cecilia Wanjiru, Evan Wambugu, Beth Wanjiku and Jane Wangui Muthee (UAP Insurance). Mother-in-law of John Wachira, Reuben Waithaka, John Githaiga, Esther Muthoni and the late Karuno. She had 26 grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Waihara Village, Othaya, and Norwich Union House, Nairobi (on Wednesday 15th August 2018).

The cortege shall leave Kiriani Mission Hospital at 8am on Friday, 17th August 2018, for a Requiem Mass at Kigumo Catholic Church, next to Kigumo Primary School, at 11am. Burial will follow at her home in Waihara village, Othaya.
