Phyllis Mukami Gitau Gichuru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Phyllis Mukami Gitau Gichuru.

Wife of the late John Gitau Gichuru of Sigona, Kikuyu, Kiambu County. Daughter of the late Richard Gatumu Kamaitha and the late Charity Gichuku Gatumu of Kirigi village, Ngandori location Embu County. Daughter-in-law of the late Hon James Gichuru and Mrs Rahab Wangui Gichuru. Sister of Rodgers Mureithi, Mrs Persiah Muthoni Masinde, Rosemary Wambogo Gatumu, Rosaline Njura Boro and Charles Kariuki Gatumu. Sister-in-law of the late Mary N. Gichuru, Joan Njoki Ndungi, the late Anne Njeri Gichuru, the late David Ndatha Gichuru and Bishop John B. Masinde of DCU among others. Mother of the late James Gichuru, Richard and Bernice Gatimu (USA), Daudi and Laureen Ndatha, the late Rodgers Mureithi and Joe and Wangui Waweru. Doting grandmother of Chris Gitau Gatimu, Zuri Mukami, Feiza Wanjiku, Empress Mukami, Jabari Gitau, Queen Wanjiku and lmani Mukami.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Friday I8/08/2017 at 9:30 am. for a funeral service at PCEA Church of The Torch,Thogoto at 11am. She will later be laid to rest at her farm at Sigona, Kikuyu, Kiambu County soon there after.
