It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Pius Kirimi Mputhia, formerly of Ministry of Education, that occurred on Thursday 18th May, 2023 while on medication.

Dedicated and Loving husband to Nicela Murugi. Father to Vincent Mwenda and Jacob Maingi. Son to the late Eustace Mputhia and Salecia Nkinga.

Brother to the late Caroline, Janet, Esther, Edwin, Josyline, Humphrey, Liza, the late Eric and jackline.

Son-in-Law to Jeremiah Njeru and Jane Ciankoroi. Brother-in-law to the Fabian, Desderio and Susan. Uncle, Cousin and Friend to many,

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residences in Kayole – Nairobi and Muthambi – Tharaka Nithi, from 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home – Thika Road, on Friday 02nd June, 2023 at 5.00a.m to be laid to rest at his home in Thai-aka Nithi County, Gitije Location, Gichue Village. The funeral service will be held at Nkundi prayer house – Catholic Church, Muthambi Division, from 11.00am. Thereafter, the burial service will be at home Gichue Village.
