Prisca Ananyilu Owano Mauka

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our Mum, Prisca Ananyilu Owano Mauka which occurred on 12th July, 2018.

Beloved daughter of the late Rev. Joshua Amunga and Rev. Late Esther Emali Amunga. Daughter in-law of the late Mzee Elijah Mauka and Rael Namikoye Mauka. Wife of Brigadier (Rtd) Richard Mauka and co wife of Christabel and Rose. Mother of Franklin, Major Alan, Dr. Vincent and Amy Mauka. Mother in-law of Rhonda Harvey, Irene Muthoni and Clementine Nzilani. Step Mother of Susan, Joel, Eric, Brian, Kennedy, Hannington, Veronica, Vivienne, Jacqueline, Gitau and The Late Patricia. Sister of the late Caleb Ambwa, the late Lydia Manyasi Shikanda, the Namaan Oluarnbula Eshuchijulia Eshirnuli Lusweti, the late Crispus Lukale Eshuchi and Seruya Onyoona Andibo.

Sister in-law of the late Rispa Barasa, Selina Mukhwana Musitia, Peter Kiliswa, Japheth Kimuchosi, Col. (Rtd) Moses Silali, David Wafula, Enock Khisa, Robby Namisi,Truphena Osore & Isaiah Mauka. Aunt of the Maukas, the Eshuchis, the Luswetis, the Shikandas and the Andibos. Cousin of the Daniel Olukwa, the Anundas, the Manyasis, the Nyanzas. the Ngotes, the Shikandas, Samuel, Jonathan & others, the Nganyis — Liboyi, Dr. Oyondi & others.

Grandmother of Ashley, Cindy, Stacey, Sharkylla, Onyoona, Seruya, Fadhili, Shikhule, Amunga, Eliud, Leah, Rael, Rebecca, Lindsay, Caleb, Mercy, Rael, Doreen, Norman, Jonathan. Alucheri, Jimmy, Atulo, Dorcas, Morgan, Joshua, Rajula, Andanje amongst many others.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at CITAM Valley Road, Minor Hall 1 from 5.30 pm. There shall be a main fundraising on Saturday 21st July from 3.00 pm at CITAM Valley Road, Minor Hall 1.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 25th July, at CITAM Valley Road, Minor Hall 1 from 2.00 pm to 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home destined for Bungoma on Thursday, the 26th of July 2018.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday, the 28th July, 2018 at Musikoma in Bungoma County.
