Prisca Moraa Oendo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Prisca Moraa Oendo, former Principal and Headmistress of Maxwell Preparatory School, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Pastor Hezron Kenani and the late Mama Bathsheba Nyang’ara of Riondong’a Village, Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County. Daughter-in-law of the late Pastor Elizaphan Oendo and the late Elizabeth Kerubo of Bomarongo Village, Kisii County.

She was the cherished wife of Dr. Ayuka Waya Oendo and loving mother to Sam Ongaki and Juliet, Eliamani Kombo and Chola, and Rebecca Nyanduko.

Prisca was sister to Keng’ara and Florence, the late Karen and Nchore, James and Catherine, Onchari and Susan, Ogoti and Helen, Eunice and Ondari, the late Helen Wangare and Shem, Cliff and Jackie, and Caroline and Ngure.

Sister-in-law to the late Sakawa and Mong’ina, the late Kemunto and Omae, Isaac Ayako and Bathsheba, the late Kabaka Miranga and Gesare, the late Dorcas and Elkanah, Mary and Onuong’a, Huldah and Nyachieng’a, Kenani Mauti and Lucy and David Omingo and Eva.

Doting Grandma to Moraa Z. Ongaki and Justin Ayuka. Cousin and Aunt to many.

There will be a funeral service at Rigena Primary School on Sunday 2nd April, 2023 at 10.00am.The burial ceremony will also take place on Sunday 2nd April, 2023 at her home in Mosache,Tabaka Ward.
