It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Professor Charles Odidi Okidi after a short illness bravely borne.
Son of the late Mzee Ezekiel Okidi Ongiri and the late Mama Doris Atieno Okidi. Husband of Doreen Akinyi Okidi. Father of Lilian Wasike and Festo Okidi. Brother of the late Jotham Kabasa Okidi, Margaret Abuor Ochieng, the late Serafin Okombo, Pamela Adhiambo, the late Reuben Opon Okidi, and the late Michael Ouma Okidi. Son-in-law of the late Dennis Opiyo and late Julia Opiyo
Brother-in-law of the late Elizabeth Kabasa, Monica Akinyi Kabasa,Adhiambo Lomo, Tereza Opon Okidi, Mpnica Auma Okidi, Janet Abila, Felicia Opiyo, Monica Opiyo, Tom Opiyo, Wycliffe Opiyo and Jacqueline Opiyo. Father-in-law of Fred Wasike and Laura Okidi. Grandfather of Amos, Derryck, Shantelle and Christopher. An uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held, tomorrow, Friday, 23rd April 2021, at All Saints Cathedral Church, Nairobi, at 11.00am. Physical attendance will be restricted but online live stream link will be available.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for final rites and burial at his horde in Kamwania Village, Kendu Bay, North Rachuonyo Sub-county, Homa Bay County, on Monday, 26th April, 2021.
