Rest in peace professor. I admired your confidence when I first joined UON in 1980. Many young women in Kenya gained confidence to rise above cultural burdens placed on African women with you among the few role models that we admired from afar. We have all triumphed and lived better lives than we could have ever dreamed of in our early teens. May you rest in peace till we meet again.
