Pst. Johnfred Okore Ajwang’

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that Dove Christian Fellowship and the family of Ajwang’ announce the death of Pst. Johnfred Okore Ajwang’ which occurred on 1st July 2017 after short illness.

Son of the late Patrice A. Okore and the late Mary Auma of Kisumo Kadawa. Beloved husband of Lydia Mukami and father of Shem, Enoch, Ruth and Japheth. Son in-law of Mzee Peter N. Nyaga and Mama Elas M. Nyaga of Kariari Village Manyatta Embu, Brother of Nicholas, Sarah, the late Akinyi, Tobias, Nehemiah (Thiring’inyi), Pamela and Jane. Nephew of J. Rombo, Dalmas, Vincent Amolo, Michael Anguko, Julias Amolo, Rusalia Nyogola, Joseph, the late Miruka, the Odangas among others. Brother-in-law of Mukundi, Irene, Mary, Christine, Dorcas, Betty, Beatrice and Susan. Uncle of Roselyne, Seith, Dickens,Vincent, Gideon, Cynthia among others. Cousins, Joel Akumu, Denis Okeyo among others. He was a friend, teacher and pastor to many.

A requiem service will be held at RCC, opposite Lwala Kadawa Secondary School on 14th July 2017 and burial will take place on Saturday 15th July 2017 at his home in Kadawa Village, Upper Kadongo Sub-Location, Kisumu West.
