It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of sister in Christ Rachael Muthoni Mutaaru (Wa-Mukundi)
Wife of Zachariah Mutaaru, Gathua of Karembu Village, Kiamwangi Ward, Gatundu South. Mother of Elijah Gathua (G-2 Animal Feeds, Gatundu), Elizabeth Nyagitee Kinyanjui Marenye (Kimandi Traders Thika), David Mukundi, Late Elivas Wamugi, Emily Wanjiku Kihanya Karita (Kairi), Eli Kamuyu, Late Eliud Thuku, Elisha Njoroge and Elikana Gikurumi.
Mother-in-law of Nancy Gathoni Gathua, Kinyanjui Marenye, Jane Wanjira Mukundi, Joyce Wairimu Wamugi, Phillip Kihanya Karita, Serah Wanjiru Kamuyu, Kellen Wairimu Thuku and Agnes Njoki. Sister of Beth Wanjiru Njoroge (Wa Mang’u) and the late Tabitha Njeri, Ruth Wairimu, James Kamuyu Mukundi, Hannah Wambui Ndegwa, Samuel Njoroge Mukundi, and Rebecca Wairimu Ngamau. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many children.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her husband’s residence Karembu village.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (KU) on 7/2/20 at 8.00 am for funeral service at PCEA Ng’enda Church, Kiamwangi Ward, Gatundu South thereafter burial will take place at her husband’s farm Karembu village.
