APPRECIATION

The MUHUNI family wish to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all those who supported and assisted us in various ways during the burial of our beloved Mum the late Rahab Wambui Muhuni.

We appreciate the support of His Excellency, President Uhuru Kenyatta, His Excellency the Deputy President Dr William Ruto, the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, Secretary-General of UNCTAD, Hon. Dr Mukhisa Kituyi, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, Cabinet Secretaries, Raphael Tuju, Amb.Amina Mohamed, James Macharia, Sicily Kariuki, Joseph Mucheru. Governors Mwangi wa Ha, Lee Kinyanjui, Ann Waiguru and Ferdinand Waititu.

Chief Administrative Secretaries. Principal Secretaries, Members of Parliament led by Hon. Joseph N. Nduati M.P. Gatanga and his team, Senators, former Members of Parliament, Senior Government Officials, Gatanga County Commissioner and his entire team, Members of Murang’a County Government, and the many friends who joined us at Hon Peter Kenneth’s home and at Kirwara High School for the funeral service.
Our special thanks go to the leadership of the PCEA Church led by the Secretary-General Rev. Peter Kariuki Kania, Rev Kanga, Rev Moses Kariuki, Rev Njeru Wachira, the members of PCEA Church Kirwara, Bahati, and Loresho and the members of the Women Guild from the PCEA Church. To Bishop Mureithi, Father Gichinga and all Clergy from other denominations as well as the Nairobi and Kirwara Organising Committees.

We wish to acknowledge the invaluable medical attention extended to our Mum, at the Aga Khan Hospital led by Dr Daniel Githegi and Dr Twahir with their team of doctors, and to the four Nurses, Judith Adhola, Hellen Wamwari, Margaret Odhiambo and Hellen Chazima, who gave Mum the medical care and support that she needed.

As it is not possible to reach each one of you, kindly accept our sincere appreciation for the role you each played to ensure we gave our Mum a befitting burial.
