It is with profound shock and sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Rahab Wangeci Kabiru (Mama Wambugu). Which occurred on 7th January 2020.

Daughter of the late Daniel Wambugu Kagenyo and the late Leah Nyokabi. Wife of the late Mwalimu Erastus Kabiru. Loving mother of David Wambugu (Jiangxi Construction ltd), Duncan Mwangi (Chandah Enterprises), the late Samuel Wang’ondu, Janet Wanjiru (K.U), Eng. James Ndung’u (KeRRA), Leah Nyokabi (Kikayaya PRY School) and Grace Kagure (Warazo Health Care). Loving sister of the late Loise Gachoki Gichohi (Nairutia), Elizabeth Wathigio Ngararu (Wamicuri), Grace Muthoni Matende (Muhotetu), James Kagenyo, the late Charles Mutaga and David Wagura (Gikomba). Step sister of Anne Wanjiru (Rumuruti), Milkah Nyaruai Wachira (Miagayo-ini), Margaret Njoki Kagera (Kabaru), Tabitha Mirigo Kariuki (Pesi), Joseph Muchiri (Maua) and Douglas Wagura (Kahiga ini). She was an aunt, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Karia-ini farm and Blue Springs Hotel Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) at 8:30am on Friday, 17th January 2020. The funeral and burial service will be held from 11:00am at her Karia-ini farm, Tetu, Nyeri County.
