It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Raphael Mburu Kahika.

Son to the late Samsom Kahika and the late Esther Wambui.

Loving Husband to Cecilia Wanjiku Mburu.

Brother to Lucy Nyambura, Mary Wangari, Michael Kamau, the late Milka Njeri, the late Joseph Mbogo and the late Catherine Wanjiru.

Father to Esther Wambui, Daniel Mwaura, Dr. Joseph Mburu (Naivasha Sub-county Hospital), Phylis Wanjiru, Hon. Simon Mbogo (MCA Weru Ward), Boniface Karanja and Eng. Michael Kinyanjui. Brother-in-law to Peter Kiboi. Grandfather to Collings Mburu (Egerton University), Leon Mburu (Kabarak University), Ken Mburu and many others.

Uncle to John Mwaura (Eldoret), Peter Mbitiro (Ngarua, Kinamba), Virginia Gathoni Ruigu (Tandare, Kinamba), Kamau Njoroge (Flyover), Peter Kahika (Flyover), among others.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kasuku, Kieni Village, Nyandarua County for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Hospital Mortuary – Nyahururu, on Wednesday 09/08/2023 at 8:00am. The burial service will be held at his home in Kasuku, Kieni Village, Nyandarua County.
