Retired Chief Jeremiah Warui Simon

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of retired Chief Jeremiah Warui Simon of Theiya Sub-location, Kirinyaga County.

Son of the late Simon Kibara Ng’onyi & Lucia Wakini.

Husband of Sarah Muthoni Warui. Father to the late Simon Kinyua, the late Fredrick Muriithi, Catherine Wanjiru, Josphat Kariuki, the late Priscilla Wambui and Nelius Wanjiku. Father-in-law to Margaret Njeri, James Njuguna Gatonye and Marjory Wambui.

Brother to Millicent Wanjiku,Tabitha Wangeci, and foram Kithaka (Nanu). Brother-in-law to Bernad Kihara, and Rebecca Micere.

Grandfather to Anthony Njogu, Euphimiah Wairimu, Isaiah, Edna Muthoni, John, Lewis Gatonye, Edmonds Munene, Yvonne Nyawira, Eunice Nyokabi, Emmanuel Mutugi, and Rodney Mwangi. Great grandfather to Tattiana Mukoitha and Brielle Njeri. Uncle, cousin and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Theiya sublocation in Kirinyaga County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Burial ceremony will be held on Tuesday March 28, 2023, in his home in Theiya Sub-location, Kirinyaga County.
