Reuben Simon Waita Kilonzo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce death of Mzee (Retired Teacher) Reuben Simon Waita Kilonzo, which occurred on 21st March, 2023, while undergoing treatment at Makueni County Referral Hospital.

Son to the late Paul Kilonzo Mutyangua (Mukuevuti) and the late Tabitha Syomwai. Son-in-law to the late Munye and the late Kambua.

Husband to the late Regina Ndakithi. Father to James Waita (Daystar University), Abednego Wathome, Felista Ndunge (Ngukuni Primary), Sylvester Waita (Makueni County Referral Hospital), Lawrence Muli (Masaa), Jacinta Ndinda, Justus Mutula and Sebastian Mutua (KCB).

Father-in-law to Vincent, Regina, Wairimujane and Peninnah. Brother to the late Kiema, Kakuti, the late Mutiku and Elizabeth.

Grandfather to Kambua, Dorcas (Daystar University), Caleb, Mwangi, Josphat, Alex, Faith, Shalom, Fred,Angela, Mumo and Muuo.

Brother-in-law to Mwau, Mbulwa, Philip, Kyengo, the late Nyamai, Kalondu, Ndunda and Mutono. Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and Friend to many.

Family and friends meet daily at AIC – Athi River Church and at his farm in Kalamba for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Makueni Funeral Home on Saturday 1st April, 2023 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at Muuani Primary School, Kalamba Location, Makueni County, followed by burial thereafter at his farm in Ivaini Village.
