Rev. Father Gabriel Mukhongo Bombwe

The Catholic Diocese of Bungoma regrets to announce the passing on of Rev. Father Gabriel Mukhongo Bombwe.

Son of Ibrahim Bombwe (Omung’oma) and Mama Keremana Nabalayo (0mukhurara) of Samoya Village, Musikoma Location, Bungoma County. Brother to Felistus Mutama, Paul Barasa, the late Mathias Bombwe, the late Lazarus Wesonga, Rose Wabwile, Elizabeth Etale and the late Mary Bombwe.

Cousin to the late Major Thomas Makhaso, the late Syphrine Mukhongo, the late Pascal Wechuli, the late Sister Denis, Maria Makhaso, Josephine Makhaso, Joseph Makhaso, Margaret Juma and Teresa Milimo.

Uncle to James, Monica, Walter, Robert, Oscar Mukhongo, Collins, Quintas, Rita, Anyoso, Keremana, Akyoo, Josephine, Justus, Spino, Anthony, Sr. Everlyne, Audrey, Pauline and others.

The cortege will leave Lifecare Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 31st August. 2023 for a Requiem mass at 3.00pm at the Christ the King Cathedral followed by the vigil.

The funeral mass will be on 1st September, 2023 at The Christ The King Cathedral and thereafter the burial service will be held at the Clergy Cemetery in Kibabii Parish.
