The Catholic Diocese of Meru regrets to announce the sudden death of Rev. Fr. Bernard Kirimi that occurred on 15th March, 2022 at St.Theresa’s Mission Hospital – Kiirua, in Meru County, after a short illness due to stroke.
Son of the late Tartisio Nthiga and Penina Ciamwari.
Brother of Celestino Murithi, Gollet Kangai, Morin Mugambi, Joanmary Kanini, Martin Mutwiri, Kelvin Mwenda, Didacus Kithinji and Linet kendi.
An Uncle, a cousin and an In-law to many.
Until his demise, he was working in the Legal Office of the Catholic Diocese of Meru and assistant Parish priest at St. Cecilia Catholic Parish – Nchaure, in Imenti North Deanery.
The cortege leaves St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital – Kiirua in Meru County – on Monday 21st March, 2022 at 8:30am and proceeds to Mujwa Catholic Church for Funeral mass at 10am; thereafter, burial at Mujwa Cemetery, in Central Imenti, Meru County.
