The Catholic Diocese of Kakamega regrets to announce the sudden death of Rev. Fr. Dennis Nyongesa alias “uncle Denno” following a tragic road accident on 4/8/2017 in Nairobi.

Son of the late Benjamin G. K. Wanjala and Mama Rosalia Mukabana. Loving brother of Peter, Zena, Patrick, the late Paul, Kennedy, Pius, Jacklyne, Scholastica, Electine, Kizito, Elizabeth, Speranza, Crescent and Celestine.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Hospital mortuary Mukumu on Thursday 10/8/2017 for requiem masses in Lusumu parish at 12 pm, St. Joseph’s Kakamega Cathedral at 3 pm, the Sacred Heart Mukumu Parish at 6 pm followed by overnight vigil masses at the same venue. The funeral mass will be held on Friday 11/8/2017 at St. Peters’ Minor Seminary Mukumu from 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at the same venue.
